Yemen, Jordan finalize 15 agreements, protocols

SANA'A, Aug. 19 (Saba) - The preparatory committee for the 13th round of the Yemeni-Jordanian High Committee finalized on Tuesday the drafts of 15 agreements, memorandums of understanding and protocols aiming at enhancing bilateral cooperation between both countries.

The minute of the preparatory committee included the final drafts was signed by Minister of Trade and Industry Yahya al-Mutawakel and the Jordanian counterpart Amer al-Hadidi.

Al-Mutawakel called after signing the minute on activating the Joint Yemeni-Jordanian Businessmen Council, indicating the importance of establishing joint investment projects.

He noted that the meetings of the Yemeni-Jordanian High Committee target to follow up and evaluate the implementation of the 12th round and then overcome the obstacles hindering the implementation.

The Jordanian Industry and Trade Minister Amer al-Hadidi highlighted the significance of following up the procedures to establish a Yemeni-Jordanian joint university in Aden governorate and a joint Yemeni-Jordanian company for Marine transport to serve the commerce between both countries.
