UNFPA supports Saada health sector with $117,000
[13/August/2008]

SANA'A, Aug. 13 (Saba) - The United Nations Fund of Population (UNFPA) granted on Wednesday Yemen with $117,000 to prop up the health sector in Saada governorate.

The amount was appropriated for supporting the areas that have been damaged in the governorate of Saada due to the sabotage acts during the rebellion in domains of emergency, first aid, reproductive health and training midwives during three months since this August.

The related agreement was signed here in Sana'a by Minister of Public Health and Population Abdul Karim Rase'a and the representative of the UNFPA in Sana'a Hance Obdain.
