Forum on development of national culture to be held

SANA'A, Aug. 08 (Saba)- Education Ministry is going to hold the first educational forum to discuss the role of education in the development of national culture.

Head of the Research and Educational Development Center Dr. Saleh Nasser al-Sufi was quoted by the state-run 26sep.net as saying that the forum will focus on introducing national concepts within curriculum.

Al-Sufi noted that the forum would be attended by more than 150 participants, including researchers, university professors, educational officials and a number of teachers and students.

"The Forum will address the importance of national culture of the individuals and society and the role of youth in promoting national culture as well as the role of the national culture in the face of a culture of extremism.
