Gov't: It is importance to issue laws criminalizes terror acts

SANA'A, Aug. 03 (Saba)- The government addressed on Sunday the parliament over importance of issuing laws to punish terror acts.

In its letter to parliament, the government explained its law on combating terror which has been presented to the parliament to discuss it.

It said that it is commitment of Yemen to insert these crimes determined by the international agreements that were signed by Yemen in fighting crimes in general and terrorism in particular.

The law contains three chapters; definition, kinds of terror crimes, and punishments.
After listening to the letter, the parliament decided to refer it to the special committee to study it and report the parliament on.
