SANA'A, July 20 (Saba)- Combating Drugs Department in Amran governorate has seized 50 kg of hashish during the first half of 2008, according to the state-run almotamar.net.

The director of the department said that this operation came in collaboration with Yemeni troops, saying that nearly 600 kg of hashish were seized since July 2006 till the end of 2008 in different areas of the governorate .

He added that the investigating is continuing with the accused persons .
