Taiz governor hold talks with UK ambassador

TAIZ, July 19 (Saba) - Taiz Governor Hamoud al-Sufi held Saturday talks with United Kingdom's ambassador to Sana'a Tim Torlot on a number of issues related to British's support to the governorate.

The meeting discussed the UK assistance for service and cultural projects in Taiz governorate, particularly the project of developing learning English language in the governorate in addition to other educational projects.

The talks dealt with the British support offered to the governorate in areas of health, small enterprises for supporting poor families as well as for women's and human rights organizations.

Torlot briefed the governor on the coordination efforts between the British Cultural Centre in Sana'a and al-Saeed Foundation for Science and Culture to holding a British cultural exhibition in Taiz regarding the Yemeni-British relations and the Yemeni community in UK.
