MOSCOW, July 08 (Saba)- Minister of Defence Mohammed Nasser Ahmed met on Tuesday in Moscow the Russian Defence Minister Anatoliy Eduardovich Serdyukov.

During the meeting, military cooperation ties between the two countries and means of boosting and improving them between armed forces of the two countries were discussed.

Ahmed pointed out the importance of Russian support to Yemen in all fields including modernizing and developing armed forces within the framework of historical relations linking the two countries and peoples.

For his part, the Russian Defence Minister showed his country's readiness to strengthen Yemeni-Russian relations to contribute to achieving the two countries common interests.
