Electricity Minister: YR 2 bln allocated to improve Aden electricity network

ADEN, July 04 (Saba)- Ministry of Electricity and Energy has allocated a sum of YR 2 billion in order to improve electricity network of Aden within the investment program for the current year.

In a statement to Saba, Minister of Electricity and Energy noted that investment programs will include installing electricity transformers and cables in order to improve performance of the network to provide better service for the locals.

He made clear that he has discussed the financial allocations related to investment program of the governorate and emphasized the importance of speeding up bids and finalizing procedures to make use of them in developing electricity network.

The minister made an inspection visit to generation stations in al-Haswa, al-Mansoura and Khor Maksar.
