First Management Leaders Forum launched in Sana'a

Sana'a, June 07 (Saba) - Minister of Technical Education and Vocational Training Ibrahim Omer Hajri opened on Saturday the first management forum for the public and private sectors leaders.

The two-day event is organized by the Cordova Association for Training and Consulting.

About seven international trainers specialized in the field of management and human development from Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Malaysia and the United States are lecturing at the forum.

Hajri said holding such a meeting helps develop the leaders capabilities to cope with the challenges of the globalization, management revolution and information technology. The forum strengthens the partnership between the public and private sectors, Hajri said.

He hailed the efforts of the Cordova to organize such a meeting and its success in attracting international trainers and lecturers to take part in the association-sponsored events.

For his part, the regional director general of the Cordova Ameen Abdul Qawi al-Udaini reviewed his association objectives and programs aimed at introducing participants to applications and successful management experiences. He shed light on the importance of using the emotional intelligence by management leaders as well as developing personal management skills.

He also introduced the participants to the distinct government processes, bringing up the experiences of the Dubai and Malaysia government performances.

Al-Udaini affirmed the forum targets ministers, deputy ministers, board directors and members, managers and supervisors, the officers in charge with developing the organization structure and strategies and those who are candidates for executive posts in both the public and private sectors.

A number of papers have been delivered at the forum which focused on the concept of establishing effective management leadership and the importance of creating leaders, the distinct government performance and the benefits of freeing ourselves from the
Constraints.

Another papers are to be discussed on the second day of the forum by the director of the Quick Learning Methods Company Ayman Albritton, from the United States and a Malaysian expert that will deal with the emotional intelligence and transformational
leadership as well as the innovative leadership and the seven innovation tools model.
