Pakistani drug shipments seized in Yemen

HODEIDAH, May 16 (Saba)- Security sources said on Friday that a shipment of drug was on board a ship coming from Pakistan had been seized by the authorities in Hodeidah province.

The state-run almotamar.net quoted the sources as saying that the shipment of drug was found inside a paper box hidden inside a container of the ship.

The coastguard forces have seized another Pakistani ship off the coasts of Hadhramout province carrying drug shipments estimated at ten tons of hashish.

The sources affirmed that drug dealers were trying to enter the shipments of drug to Yemen for smuggling to the Gulf states including Saudi Arabia.
