Election committees head for provinces to manage governors elections

SANA'A, May 16 (Saba)- Informed sources said on Friday that 87 people forming 29 election committees had headed for 14 provinces, where more than one candidate will rival for the position of governors.

The sources added that the election committees would manage next Saturday the governors election in the capital Sana'a and the provinces of Taiz, Lahj, Ibb, Hadramout, Marib, Saada, Dhamar, Sana'a, Hodeidah, Baidha, Hajja and Amran.

The sources pointed to the provinces of Aden, Abyan, Mahara, Mahwait, Dhalea, Jawf and Rayma have one candidate for the position of governor.
