Governors' elections is key step to shift into local ruling, says official

SANA'A, May 15 (Saba)- Deputy Minister of Local Administration Jafar Hamad has described elections of governors as key step to shift into local ruling.

Next Saturday, Yemen will witness first governors' election.

In an interview with Saba, Hamad pointed out to the measures have been taken by the ministry to promote local ruling and administrative division.

He expected that the ministry would finalize administrative division of the country by end of this year.
