Yemen, UNHCR discuss increasing refugees' support

SANA'A, May 15 (Saba)- Deputy Foreign Minister Ali Muthana discussed with Head of the United Nation High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) increasing support to Yemen for improving situations of refugees in the country.

The meeting dealt with situations in Somalia and assertion on diplomatic solution to Somali issue, considering this solutions basic approach for limiting refugees' streaming to the country..The
UN official highlighted Yemen's efforts in restoring Somali stability and reconciliation between warring factions, calling donors for more support to Yemen that provides save haven to those who have fled their country because civil war.

For his part, Muthana who is also Head of Yemeni National Committee for Refugees Affairs highlighted UNHCR's efforts in this field.
