Winner companies in oil exploration, production to be announced soon

MUKALLA, May 14 ( Saba )- Minister of Oil and Minerals Khaled Mahfoudh Babah confirmed on Wednesday that the oil ministry would announce soon the winner companies in oil exploration and production fields in offshore blocks.

Bahah said in a statement to Saba that the ministry handed over tender application forms for qualified companies and winners would be announced after analyzing the presented applications.

He pointed out that the ministry seeks to extend exploration and production system of oil resources.

Concerning employees working in oil companies in Mukalla, he made it
clear that the ministry in the framework of employees lists which was
approved by the cabinet would give 50% for citizens of Sau and Qail Bin
Yamin in Hadhramout governorate, 25% for the rest of Hadhramout governorate and 25% for other governorates of the Republic.
