Florence, Sana'a universities discuss academic cooperation

SANA'A, May 12 (Saba)- Rector of Sana'a University Khalid Tamim discussed on Monday with rector of the Italian Florence University Augusto Marinly cooperation aspects in the scientific and research fields and means of developing and reinforcing them.

They discussed possibilities of signing agreements in the different research fields, specially in fields of medicine and health and agricultural sciences, and creating mechanisms to activate previous agreements.

The meeting also discussed possibilities of making use of Florence University's experience and experiment in the scientific field.

Tamim affirmed that Sana'a University is working to establish cooperation and exchange relations in the scientific and academic fields with different universities, expressing hope to create partnership with Florence University.

For his part, Marinly showed Florence University's readiness to cooperate and hold partnership with Sana'a University as well as offer support for the fields of medicine, sciences and agriculture in Sana'a University.
