President calls a number of Lebanese leading figures

SANA'A, May 11 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh called on Sunday Lebanese Prime Minister Fuad Siniora, commander of the Lebanese army Imad Michel, governing coalition leader Saad al-Hariri and Hizbullah leader Hassan Nasrallah.

Saleh discussed with them the current developments in Lebanon following the sorrowful events the country witnessed, affirming concern of Yemen on security, stability and unity of Lebanon.

He urged Lebanese parties to avoid whatever may dangers the Lebanese interests, expressing his trust that the concerned parties would adhere to whatever serves interest and stability of Lebanon.

For their part, they affirmed their commitment to ceasing fire so that the Lebanese army be responsible for maintaining security and stability of the country.
