ASO secretary general to visit Yemen soon

SANA'A, May 11 (Saba) - Secretary General of Arab Scout Organization ASO Ataf Abdul-Majeed will visit Yemen on 24th May to discuss arrangements for holding the 17th meeting of Arab scouts that is hosted by Sana'a for period from 24th to 30th August, 2008.

The general secretary of Yemeni Scout Association Mohammed al-Badawi stated to Saba that the one-week visit aims at following up the current arrangements for the event, which is organized by the association in cooperation with the ASO.

During the visit, a training course will be arranged for the members of the preparatory committee for the meeting, al-Badawi said.

He made it clear that the committee has submitted invitations for the participating countries and working to prepare the avenue of the meeting.
