Yemen, Syria sign 14 documents

SANA'A, May 11 (Saba) - Concluding the 8th Round of Yemeni-Syrian Joint Supreme Committee (YSJSC),Yemen and Syrian have signed on Sunday 14 documents.

The documents include executive programs, treaties, memos of understanding and cooperation protocols in fields of electricity, telecommunication, fishery wealth, media, culture, youth, social insurances, industrial ownership, goods exchange, ports, refineries, water and sanitation, irrigation and private sector.

Prime Minster Ali Mujawar and his Syrian counterpart Muhammad al-Utri, who are also the heads of the two parties in the YSJSC signed the meetings' minute of the round while the other 14 documents have been signed by concerned officials from the two countries.

The final session of the committees, which was co-chaired by the two prime ministers, asserted importance of holding meetings of the following up committees in Yemen and Syria in a period ranging from three to six months in Sana'a and Damascus.

The session also asserted on including Yemen in Syrian-Jordan Marine Police for serving trade agreement between Yemen and Syria.

The two prime ministers affirmed their supports to promote vital role of the private sector for improving size of trade, economic and investment cooperation between the two countries.

Al-Utri highlighted achievements Yemen has realized in field of construction, thanking Yemen for hospitality he and the delegation got.
