Taiz official meets WB delegation

TAIZ, May 11 (Saba) - Deputy Governor of Taiz Mohammed Abdul-Maleek al-Hayajam discussed on Sunday with the visiting delegation of the World Bank efforts of the bank in reducing poverty and employment in the province.

They also discussed possibilities of the bank to help in resolving water problem in the governorate.

Al-Hayajam highlighted contributions of the bank to improve development process in Yemen in general and in the governorate in particular, pointing out to the project of protecting the governorate from floods.

The head of the WB delegation affirmed that there are many projects that would be carried out in rural regions of the governorate.
