PS emphasizes implementing Yemeni-Syrian cooperation agreements

SANA'A, May 11(Saba) - Speaker of the parliament Yahya al-Ra'ei accented Sunday the importance of setting up suitable mechanisms to follow up carrying out cooperation agreements and protocols signed between Yemen and Syria according to their deadlines.

During his meeting with Syrian Prime Minister Muhammad Naji al-Utri, al-Ra'ei lauded the supportive stance of the Syrian people towards the regional issues as well as its determination to overcome the challenges they face under the present circumstances, affirming the country's attitude backing to Syria.

The Syrian Premier voiced its satisfaction of results of the Yemeni-Syrian talks aim to reinforce mutual ties in various fields, noting that the two countries' governments would keep on such efforts to realize the common interests.

Al-Utri highlighted the significance of enhancing the exchange of the agricultural or industrial products to strengthen the cooperation between the two countries.

The meeting also reviewed a number of Arab, regional and international issues of common concerns in addition to exchanging views towards them.
