Initial oil sharing agreements signed with ten oil companies

SANA'A, April 13 (Saba)- The Ministry of Oil and Minerals and ten oil companies and corporations signed on Sunday initial sharing oil agreements in seven oil blocks.

The ten companies are winners of the third international bid round in several oil blocks in Yemen.

The agreements were signed by Minister of Oil and Minerals Khaled Bahah and representatives of these companies.

Bahah said that the agreements have wide articles including exploration, production,
investment and gas marketing as well as Yemenization and environment protection.

He said that gas investment was the key part which has been added to the agreements that make them different than other agreements.
