PS highlights Yemeni-Eritrean ties

SANA'A, March 24 (Saba)- Speaker of Parliament Yahya al-Ra'ei affirmed on Monday the deep rooted relations between Yemeni and Eritrean peoples.

During his meeting with Eritrean ambassador to Sana'a Musa Yasin, the speaker pointed out to the importance of enhancing cooperation between the two countries to realize security and stability in the African Horn.

He called for cooperation with Somali people to resolve the current disputes between Somali factions to fulfill political and economic stability in this African country.

For his part, the Eritrean diplomat conveyed congratulations to al-Ra'ei from his Eritrean counterpart on electing him as speaker of Yemen's Parliament, saying that the Yemeni-Eritrean ties would witness further progress in coming period.
