SANA'A, March 24 (Saba)- Yemen is going to receive by the last quarter of 2008 the 1st liquefied natural gas carrier by Mitsubishi port, in the Japanese city of Nagasaki that builds the two Yemeni liquefied natural gas carriers related to Yemeni Liquefied Natural Gas Company (YLNG).
Upon his leaving to New York to participate in the periodic meeting of YLNG's board that would be started next Thursday, Minister of Oil and Minerals Khaled Bahah said that Yemen would also received other carrier by the 2nd quarter of 2009.
He expected that 1st natural gas load would be exported to South Korea by the beginning of 2009, making reference that the Yemeni annual gas production reached to 6.7 million tons.
Bahah briefed that the meeting would discuss issues dealing with evaluating the gas project implementation during the last time.
He mentioned Yemen would export two 3rds of Yemeni annual production of liquefied natural gas to USA.
