French ambassador discusses French support for Socotra

SOCOTRA, March 10 ( Saba)- French ambassador to Sana'a Gilles Gauthier discussed on Monday with members of Socotra Association for Heritage and History work process of Socotra heritage documentation project which is implemented by the association in cooperation with French embassy and Socotra Support Fund.

Gauthier hailed efforts of the association members and French mission on implementing the project, indicating possibilities of French government support to cultural projects in Socotra .

In a statement to Saba, Gauthier noted possibilities to support projects of preserving Socotra environmental and cultural specific factors.

He said that his visit to Socotra comes in the purpose of inspecting the projects implemented by French support.
