Yemen to try 11 Iranian sailors next week
[03/March/2008]

MAHARAH, March 03 (Saba) - The prosecution is due to complete investigations with eleven Iranian sailors whom entered illegally aboard a boat into Yemen's territorial waters last month, the state-run 26sep.net reported Monday.

Chief of the al-Gaitha prosecution Hidan Juman said that authorities in Yemen's eastern province of Maharah have seized some drugs quantities with the sailors whom would be on trial next week on charges of illegal entering into the country's territorial waters only.

It is noteworthy, the authorities have not yet identified the reasons behind the boat's entering into the Yemeni territorial waters.
