[31/December/2007]

TAIZ, Dec. 31 (Saba)- Deputy governor of Taiz Abdul-Qader Hatim held a meeting on Monday with advisor of cultural heritage in the French embassy Marlene Barite and reviewed with her prospects of Yemeni-French cooperation in the field of cultural heritage protection through establishing a house for cultural heritage, traditional crafts and arts heritage.

They also discussed the importance of preserving the cultural heritage and national identity among school students.

During the meeting, Hatim praised the level of cooperation between Yemen and France in various areas, particularly in the area of human heritage.

Barite, for her part, made clear that the cultural heritage house consists of three phases for a period of three years starting from 2008.
