Parliament speaker passes away

SANA'A, Dec. 29 (Saba) - A well-informed source said that Parliament speaker Sheikh Abdullah Bin Hussein al-Ahmar died Saturday morning at the Specialized Faisal Hospital in the Saudi capital Riyadh after a six-month fight with the cancer illness.

The eldest son of the Al-Ahmar Sateq and his family expressed sadness following the death of Sheikh Abdullah. 

Sheikh Abdullah al-Ahmar, 74,  was also the head of the Al-Islah (Reform) Party, the main Islamist opposition party.
