Yemen suggests establishing Islamic Fund for Cultural Development

TRIPLI, Nov. 22 (Saba)- In the 5th Islamic Conference of Culture Ministers (ICCM), which kicked off its activities last Wednesday, Yemen suggested establishing an Islamic Fund for Cultural Development to provide help to member countries of the Islamic Conference in implementing a plan for cultural development.

In Yemen's speech, Culture Minister Mohammad al-Muflihi confirmed on the importance of the participation of Islamic countries in creating changes and facing challenges.

Regarding a cultural strategy of the Islamic world, the minister reviewed huge Islamic transcripts and historical cities in Yemen.

Concluding its activities on Friday, the conference discussed a number of issues and action plans for renewing cultural policies in member countries.
