Yemen's accession to WTO discussed

GENEVA, Nov. 03 (Saba)- Minister of Trade and Industry Yahya al-Mutawakil held a meeting on Saturday with officials and experts at the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) and discussed with them technical aspects related to Yemen's accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO).

He also met with the ambassadors of South Korea, Canada and the United States to WTO and reviewed with them commercial and economic cooperation areas between Yemen and their countries as well as procedures to accelerate inclusion of Yemen to the international organization.

The ambassadors welcomed interest of Yemen to join WTO, voicing support of their countries to help it realize the full inclusion to benefit from the organization advantages.
