Yemen to partake in AL economic, social council

SANA'A,  (Saba) - Yemen is to participate in meetings of the committee of organizations for coordination and follow-up emerging from the Economic and Social Council in the Arab League (AL) to be held in Cairo on November 4 - 6.

Dean of the Financial Institute Saleh Sha'aban, the representative of Yemen in the committee, told Saba that the meetings would discuss a number of issues included in the committee's agenda, especially amending the draft of the unified financial and accounting system for the Arab specialized organizations.

He said that Yemen has presented a proposal integrated draft on the amendments to the unified financial and accounting system, which has been accepted by the AL, noting that the committee would adopt 90 percent of the proposal draft.
