President inaugurates industrial projects in Aden, Lahj

SANA'A, (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh opened on Wednesday several development and industrial projects in Aden and Lahj governorates.

He inaugurated project of rehabilitating Aden Airport at YR400 million and listened to contents of the projects as well as future plans to improve performance of the airport.

In Lahj, president Saleh launched the first phase of Al-Suwari Ceramic Factory at
a total cost of YR 6.6 billion. The factory contains three production lines at capability of 60,000 m². The total cost of the three phases of the factory is YR19.2 billion.

He also opened an iron factory of Aden Company for Iron, in Aden governorate, which would produce 500 thousand tons yearly. The cost of the factory valued at $125 million.

President Saleh highlighted establishment of such industrial projects which offer jobs and serve development in the nation, affirming that such investments would receive all care.
