Yemen seeks Indian support for technical, vocational education
[29 October 2007]

SANA'A,  (Saba)- Minister of Technical Education and Vocational Training Ibrahim Hajri discussed on Monday with the Indian ambassador to Sana'a R.M. Aggarwal bilateral cooperation between the two countries and ways of developing them.

The talks dealt with possibilities of rising Indian support in domains of technical education, equipping some technical institutes and sending teachers and experts from India to teach in Yemen, in addition to activating exchange visits between both countries to benefit from the Indian experience.

It's worth mentioning that India, during the last year, supported Al-Saeed
Industrial Technical Institute of Taiz with a number of technical equipment and scientific requirements.
