FM submits Saleh's letter to Saudi King

JEDDAH, (Saba)- Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Qirbi handed over on Tuesday a letter to king of Saudi Arabia Abdullah Ibn Abdul-Aziz Al Saud from President Ali Abdullah Saleh on the developing cooperation relations between Yemen and the kingdom and current regional and international development of common concern.

The letter also deals with the situations in Palestine and Iraq and peace conference, as well as conference of the coming summit of the GCC and means of underpinning partnership and cooperation between Yemen and the Gulf states.

During the meeting, King Abdullah expressed comfort for the good level of relationship between the two countries, affirming support of his country for the unification and security of Yemen.

He said that holding meeting of the Yemeni-Saudi Coordination Council by the end of this year would be a key step to push relations forwards between the two countries and serve common interests of the two peoples.

Abdullah asked the minister to convey his regards to president Saleh and wishes of good health and further progress, and prosperity for the Yemeni people.
