President gets acquainted with projects implementation in Taiz City

TAIZ,  (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh paid Saturday an inspection visit to a number of projects in Taiz City, out of which the project of protecting Taiz City from floods dangers, valued at YR1.2 billion.

He asserted the importance of completing these projects on time, noting the need to pave streets of Taiz City and other cities with stones which, in turn, would create more jobs and contribute to reducing unemployment.

Saleh also visited Sabir district of Taiz where he inspected work process of currently implemented projects and familiarized himself with needs of locals.

He urged local council of the district to translate development plans according needs of priority in the district.

Furthermore, President Saleh made a visit to Sheikh Zayed Park and got acquainted with tourism movement there, affirming the necessity to establish more such recreation grounds.
