President performs Eid prayer in al-Janad Mosque

SANA'A, (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh along with top officials in Taiz and Ibb governorates performed on Friday Eid al-Fitr prayer in al-Janad Mosque, Taiz governorate.

In his yesterday's speech to the nation on this occasion, President Saleh congratulated the Yemeni nation on this precious occasion of Eid al-Fitr as well as the 44th Anniversary of October 14 Revolution which liberated the country from the interference of foreigners and regained sovereignty of the country to the Yemeni people and commenced the way of enlightenment.

He affirmed that the Yemeni people have entered a new era of life by achieving unification of the land and tracing democracy which all together place them in an importance position among the nations.
