Yemen affirms interest in integrated framework initiative

STOCKHOLM, (Saba)- Minister of Industry and Trade Yahya al-Mutawakil confirmed Tuesday Yemen's concerns on Integrated Framework initiative (IF) as a way to support the least developed countries within the framework of their quest to access the World Trade Organization (WTO).

He expressed in his speech in the beginning of the Integrated Framework
Conference on Trade, kicked off in Stockholm Tuesday, aspiration of under developed countries of the IF to increase support offered to them to assist them for accession into the WTO.

The minister reviewed Yemen's benefit from the first
support phase offered within framework of the IF program for agriculture, fisheries and trade sectors, worth $1million, and its successes achieved in this area.
