[12 July 2007] ADEN, July 12 (Saba)- The Social Welfare Fund (SWF) is organizing, in cooperation with the EU Program for supporting the SWF, a two-day workshop in Aden to review the fund policy in the light of its previous five-year experience and draw up new and more effective policies.

During opening of the workshop, Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Amt
al-Razaq Humad affirmed interest to review and develop the SWF policy and
mechanisms that target alleviating poverty.

She pointed out that the fund would offer loans for those able to work after training them on the fields they would invest in which are required in the labor market.
