Yemen to partake in AOECS meeting
[12 July 2007] SANA'A, July 12 (Saba)- Education Minister Abdul-Salam al-Jawfi headed on Thursday for Tunisia to participate in a extraordinary
meeting of the Arab Organization for Education, Culture and Science (AOECS)to be held on July 12-15.

Speaking to Saba upon his departure, al-Jawfi said the meeting would discuss a number of issues, including issue of developing education
in the Arab region according to the Arab summit held in Riyadh of Saudi Arabia in addition to amending AOECS constitution.

Al-Jawfi pointed that AOECS has adopted issues of reforming education system and developing secondary education in Yemen.
