[11/July/2007] SANA'A, July 11 (Saba)- Minister of Interior Rashad al-Alimi held on Wednesday a farewell meeting for the Kuwaiti ambassador to Yemen
Abdul-Rahman al-Utaibi on ending duties as an ambassador here.

During the meeting, the two parts discussed cooperation aspects between the two countries and means of enhancing and improving them.

Al-Alimi praised the role of the ambassador in enhancing relations between the two countries, hoping him success in his future responsibilities.

For his part, the ambassador expressed his thanks to Yemeni officials for cooperation he got while in duty, praising good
relations between the two countries.

On the other hand, al-Alimi met on Wednesday with the French ambassador here Gilles Gauthier with whom he discussed a number of issues of
joint concern, and cooperation fields between the two countries and means of enhancing and improving them.

Al-Alimi praised efforts of the ambassador in enhancing mutual relations and cooperation between the two friendly countries.

The ambassador confirmed the Yemeni-French deep-rooted relations.
