[11/July/2007] ADEN, July 11 (Saba)- Aden governor held talks on Wednesday with a delegation of United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), headed by the fund representative in Yemen Hans Obdeijn, on a number of issues related to the fund relevant support for the governorate in several fields.

During the meeting, the governor reviewed Aden's needs to be supported by the UNFPA, pointing out that Aden Local Authority is preparing a suitable infrastructure to attract foreign and Arabic investors, in addition to training graduators to cover needs of labor market.

For his part, UNFPA representative clarified that the fund has a work mechanism to easily provide assistance for beneficiaries, affirming that the fund is interested to hold awareness programs of women issues and activating their role in the community.
