Tourism Ministry tries to overcome terrorist attack damages
[11/July/2007] SANA'A, July 11(Saba)- Officials of Tourism Ministry have held a meeting headed by Minister Nabil al-Faqih to discuss procedures and
measures to be taken to overcome the damages of last week's terrorist attack that claimed lives of seven Spanish tourists and two Yemeni nationals near Bilquis temple in Marib province.

They reviewed the tourist and security situation in light of the suspected al-Qaeda terrorist attack, in addition to means of
activating the Yemeni participation in the international tourist exhibitions according to a circulation plan approved by the Tourism
Promotion Council.

They discussed ways of enhancing joint cooperation and coordination between the Tourism Ministry and Interior Ministry to strengthen security protection for tourists and foreign citizens in the tourist areas according to approved security plans.
