[09/July/2007] SANA'A, July 09 (Saba)- The Abu Dhabi based retail giant EMKE Group is to set up a tourist center project in Sana'a with an area of 61 thousand square km at a total cost of over $150,527 thousand million.
Prime Minister Ali Mujawar talked on Monday with chairman of the group Yousuf Ali over investment areas in Yemen that the EMKE Group could invest in such as foodstuff and light industries.
Mujawar pledged to support the group's investments in the country, hoping that this kind of investment would contribute to fostering the Yemeni tourism and investment. He lauded the group's plans to establish similar projects in other cities.
For his part, chairman of the group expressed appreciation for the Yemeni government cooperation, making it clear that designs of the project have been finalized and that work would be started in the next few months.
