[08/July/2007] SANA'A, July 08 (Saba)- Minister of Industry and Commerce Yahya al-Mutawakel discussed, on Sunday, with the delegation of Moroccan
Center for Exports Promotion enhancing trade exchange between Yemen and Morocco and encouraging joint investment between private
sectors and businessmen of the two countries.
The meeting discussed visit of senior Moroccan businessmen to Yemen next year and the importance of activating accords signed between
the two countries in economic and trade fields.
The minister praised the Yemeni-Moroccan relations, indicating the importance of enhancing them and activating joint investments,
stressing the importance of exchanging expertise and visits between Yemeni and Moroccan businessmen and officials.
He informed the delegation on results of the Conference of Exploring Investment Opportunities in Yemen, which was held last April here,hoping for active Moroccan investment in the country.
"We have attractive investment opportunities in different fields and the law provides a number of privileges to investor," al-Mutawakel said.

For its part, the delegation expressed willingness in enhancing trade exchange between the two countries, pointing out that Yemen is an investment attracting country and promising market.
The delegation confirmed activating visit exchange between businessmen and private sectors in the two countries and suggested a
number of goods to be traded between the two countries.
