[08/July/2007] HODEIDAH, July 08 (Saba)- Japan would grant Hodeidah province a sum of $ 83,559 to carry out a project of improving drinking water
systems in al-Marawe'ah district.
The Japanese ambassador Masakazu Toshikage and head of the Water and Environment Association in Hodiedah Fatema Jilat signed on Sunday a
cooperation agreement for funding the project.
The project aims to supply al-Marawe'ah's inhabitants with safe drinking water and improve their health conditions through building a water reservoir and a room to protect the water pump and pipes as
well as to maintain the water pump.
