[06/July/2007] SANA'A, July 06 (saba)- Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Saleh Ba-Surrah headed Friday for Sudan to get acquaintance with the Sudanese higher education experience.
Upon his departure, Ba-Surrah stated to Saba that the visit aims at activating signed educational agreements between the two countries in the field of higher education. An executive program of those agreements for the coming two years would be signed, he said.
The minister made it clear that his talks with the Sudanese side would focus on scholarships and higher education, as well as exchanging lecturers between Yemeni and Sudanese universities.
He added that he would also get acquainted with situations and difficulties of Yemeni students in Sudan in order to find out solutions for them.
