Omani delegation leaves Yemen after successful talks
[05/July/2007] SANA'A, July 05 (Saba)- The Omani side in the Yemeni-Omani joint
technical committee on oil, gas and minerals left Sana'a on
Thursday after concluding the fourth meeting of the committee
on Wednesday.

The Omani Petroleum and Minerals Ministry advisor, head of the Omani side in the meeting, Alai al-Murjabi told Saba the meeting produced
recommendations to increase cooperation between the two countries in the field of oil, gas and minerals.

The Omani advisor confirmed Yemen has a lot of minerals to be
invested. He said the two sides agreed on setting up teams to
establish direct contacts and follow-up implementing the
signed agreements as well as to invite Omani companies to conduct
studies on the possible investments in field of minerals in Yemen.
