Yemen, international delegation discuss combating terrorism

SANA'A, July 04 (Saba)- Minister of Justice Ghazi al-Aghbari discussed, on Wednesday, with a delegation of British Foreign Ministry and the UN Office on Drugs and Crime measures of terror combating and strengthening cooperation ties in this area.

The minister reviewed efforts being exerted by Yemen in combating terrorism as well as setting up a ministerial committee concerned with following up combating terrorism.

He indicated that Yemen is considered one of the first countries that approved an Arab agreement for combating terrorism, in addition
to approving more than 11 international agreements in this regard.

The international delegation lauded Yemeni governmental efforts in trying to eradicate terrorism, and cooperation level between
Yemen and the UK and UN Office in this respect, expressing readiness to strengthen cooperation relations over combating terrorism.
