[10 June 2007] SANA'A, June 10 (Saba)- Foreign minister Abu Bakr al-Qirbi talked on Sunday with the out-going British ambassador to Yemen Michael Gifford on the mutual relations between Yemen and Britain.
Al-Qirbi praised Gifford's efforts to enhance and develop Yemeni-British bilateral relations in every aspect, along with helping and supporting Yemeni non-governmental organizations.
During his mission as a ambassador to Yemen, the British government has decided to raise the ceiling of aid to $100 million by 2020.
