Nicholson: presidential and local elections marked political history

Sana'a Oct 04 ( Saba ) - Baroness Emma Nicholson, Chief of EU ObservationM ission for Yemeni presidential and local elections held
on 20th of Sep,left Sana'a on Wednesday after the participation in observation on the elections.
Nicholson praised the continuous democratic practice in Yemen and pointed out that Yemeni presidential and local elections were
considered a landmarkin the modern political history of Yemen.
EU mission earlier conducted an assessment shows the advanced political awareness noticed in the elections and big competition due
to the bigpolitical freedom exists in Yemen.
