Heavy rains damages houses in Zabid historical city

HODEIDAH, Aug. 19 (Saba)- Unidentified historical buildings in Zabid historical city were damaged due to heavy rains in the city.The roof of the Al-Shabraik door in the city was collapsed and the south part of the door was collapsed too. The General Director of Historical Cities Protection Authority office in Zabid town Araf al-Hadrami called on the authority to take essential procedures to maintain the door and to avoid the collapsing of the door totally.He said that the rains caused damaging other historical house in the town and the electricity and telecommunications services were cut off.
